Alisher Uzoqov

Alisher Uzoqov — Uzbek film actor, director, singer, and professional football player. He is the child of famous actors Muhammadjon Uzoqov and Shohida Uzoqova. The actor graduated from the Uzbekistan State Institute of Arts and Culture. Uzoqov gained fame in Uzbekistan after his role in the 2009 film "Janob hech kim" (Mr. Nobody). In subsequent years, the actor played roles in several film comedies. Uzoqov has also performed several songs.

On September 16, 2013, Alisher Uzoqov participated in the "Fayzli oqshom" (Pleasant Evening) program on "Grand" radio. In it, he surprised his fans by saying that he would no longer play roles in films.

Alisher Uzoqov has also tested himself as a director, and the film "Endi dadam bo'ydoq" (My Dad Is a Bachelor Now), which he directed, was declared the winner in the "Best Film of the Year" nomination at the M&TVA-2012 contest. Alisher Uzoqov is active on social networks. Recently, he reported on his Facebook page that he was stopped by Traffic Police officers because he violated traffic rules in his Captiva car.
